Access your PDP from the My PDP area in the lefthand menu.
Your PDP is made up of categories, subcategories, and a competency you have to fulfill to complete it.
Your supervisor sets the criteria for your PDP, and they'll need to authorise it.
Submitting evidence of competency
You need to submit evidence that you've completed the relevant competencies for your PDP.
Click My PDP then click Continue next to the relevant PDP.
Next to each competency, you'll see how many times you need to complete it, and how many times you've done it already. For example, 1/3 means you've done it once and need to do it two more times.
To submit evidence of a competency, click the pencil icon next to the relevant competency.
Fill out the details of the completion:
Circumstances: Enter circumstances or supporting information about the evidence you're submitting. You must use more than five characters. Don't enter personally-identifying information such as addresses, names, or telephone numbers.
Evidence Location: Enter location details for the evidence. For example: PNB Ref:12345 pp.32.
Witness: Enter the names of other officers who watched you complete this competency. For example: PC 123 Bloggs, SC 388 Jones.
Date Completed: Select the relevant date.
Once you've entered all the details, click the green button at the bottom.
📌 Note: You can only enter competency details up to the required amount. If you have better evidence of completing a competency, you need to either delete or edit an existing competency. The edit or delete buttons appear when you enter evidence.
Comments and authorisation of competency
Your supervisor can score your evidence on a scale of one to five, with one being weak and five being strong.
The scores are aggregated and averaged, and display next to each competency so you can see your strengths and weaknesses.
Your supervisor may also leave comments or feedback on your evidence. If they do, a red comment icon appears next to the competency name.
Click the red comment icon to view your supervisor's feedback.
Once your supervisor has authorised your evidence or competency, you won't be able to edit existing evidence or add new ones. If you want to do that, you need to submit your PDP to your supervisor and ask them to remove the authorisation and return the PDP back to you.
