If your force uses the SMS module, and you have the right access level, you can send an SMS to your officers using the Send SMS page from the Supervisors section.

Select the relevant locations from the list which appears.
To send an SMS to just supervisors, select Supervisors Only.
Select the relevant users from the list that appears. You can deselect the officers you don't want to send an SMS to.
Click Select Officers.
Compose your message. You're limited to 160 characters.
Click Preview SMS.
Make sure your message is correct. If not, click Edit SMS.
To send the message to all the selected recipients, click Confirm & Send.
The Sent SMS Status page appears, where you'll see if the recipients have gotten your message.
đ¤ Tip: When you're sending messages, we check to make sure that you've got at least one mobile number in your My Details section.
If you do, we automatically send the messages on your behalf, recipients will see your mobile number, and any replies go back to your mobile.
â
If you've been issued a Police mobile phone and have given the number to DutySheet, we'll automatically select that one as the sender number.
â
If you don't have a number in your My Details section, the sender of the message will display as DutySheet, and you won't get any replies. It's a good idea to update your details as accurately as possible, so you can take full advantage of this functionality.
â
đNote: You aren't billed personally to send SMS messages using DutySheet, but each message costs your force money, so always consider whether the message is urgent. If the recipient replies to the message, and you reply back to them, you'll be billed at the standard rate from your mobile phone provider.
